What the booking form does when there is one of you
Booking for one is the form's default, not a special case. Step three, 'Who is coming', opens with the adult counter already at one. The children counter stays at zero on the Quad Safari, and the Buggy Safari has no children counter at all: it sells adult seats only.
The 'Other travellers — names' box never appears, because the form asks for it only when a booking holds more than one person. It wants your full name, one phone number for WhatsApp, your pickup area and hotel, and your room number if you know it. The Family Buggy Safari stays closed to you: back in step three its children counter will not go below one, because that product is sold as an adult and a child aged 6–10 in the same booking.
What one seat costs, and the two things that do not exist
Fares are per person, so one person pays one adult fare: €30 on the Buggy Safari, €25 on the Quad Safari. Nothing is added because a second seat is missing, and nothing is taken off.
There is no private option. No departure, guide or course can be booked for one person alone; you ride with whoever else took that departure. The rest is normal: you pay on the day of the tour, nothing is charged on this website, and cancellation is free up to 24 hours before departure.
Your own machine, and the passenger seat stays empty
One seat means one driver on their own vehicle. You take the information briefing, the safety briefing and the vehicle briefing with the group, then the practice drive on your own buggy or quad, where the guide decides whether you drive the main safari.
We do not pair a solo guest with a stranger on one machine, and we do not sell half a seat. The passenger seat stays empty and costs nothing.
Neither vehicle asks much of a first-timer. The buggy is automatic — a wheel and pedals. The quad has handlebars and a thumb throttle, both explained before you touch them. No driving licence is required, because this safari runs on a private off-road course inland from the Side coast, never on public roads. What is required: 16 or over with ID, the briefings, the practice drive and the guide's go-ahead.
Riding in a convoy of people you have not met
A departure holds 40 places and you are one of them, among families, couples and others who came alone. The briefings are given to the whole group. The practice drive is not — every driver takes that one individually, and that is where travelling alone stops being noticeable.
On the course the convoy sets the pace, not a companion. You follow the guide and hold your place in line. The breaks are the group's, and so are the distance and stopping rules from the safety briefing — nothing out there runs differently because you came alone. Plan for one thing: nobody is with you to hold a camera, and the base team's photos are sold separately.
The transfer when you are the only pickup at your hotel
The round-trip hotel transfer is included for one person exactly as for a family, across the same nine areas: Side, Kumköy, Evrenseki, Çolaklı, Titreyengöl, Sorgun, Kızılağaç, Gündoğdu and Kızılot. If your hotel is elsewhere, ask on WhatsApp before you book. And 08:00, 11:00 and 13:00 are departure times at the base: your pickup is earlier and is confirmed with your booking.
Being the only pickup changes one thing: nobody else from your booking is watching the lobby. Write the hotel as the hotel writes it, add the room number, and be downstairs in good time. At a large resort, ask reception which entrance tour transfers use. The return brings you to the same hotel.
A short checklist before you confirm
Four of these apply to everyone. Only the first is a privilege of coming alone.
- Quad or buggy — nobody to agree with. €25 or €30, same base, same course.
- ID if you mean to drive: proof of age at the base, not a licence.
- One phone number you answer on WhatsApp — alone, it is your only line to the pickup confirmation.
- Some cash for the base: goggles, a bandana, food, drinks and photos are not in the fare.
- Ask us first if you are pregnant, have a heart condition or recent surgery, or back or neck trouble.
