How much does the Side buggy safari cost?

The Side buggy safari costs €30 per person, for everyone aged 11 and over. The quad safari is €25 per adult and €15 for a child aged 6–10 riding as a passenger; the family buggy safari is €30 per adult and €18 per child. Every fare includes the round-trip hotel transfer, helmet, briefings and practice drive, and you pay on the day of the tour — nothing is charged online.

The full price list — three safaris, five figures

Three products, one price list — and this is all of it. Prices are per person, in euros, and identical whether you book the 08:00, 11:00 or 13:00 departure; the calendar shows which of the three runs on your date.

The buggy safari sells adult seats only; with children aged 6–10 you book the family buggy safari — same buggies, same course, same adult fare, plus the child fare. On the quad safari a child aged 6–10 rides as a passenger with an adult.

  • Buggy Safari — €30 per person (adults only, 11+)
  • Quad Safari — €25 per adult (11+) · €15 per child aged 6–10, riding as a passenger
  • Family Buggy Safari — €30 per adult (11+) · €18 per child aged 6–10, riding as a passenger

What the price includes

The fare is the whole day, not just the vehicle — from the round-trip hotel transfer to the private off-road course inland from the Side coast, to the showers at the base afterwards:

Door to door that is approximately 4–4.5 hours, with an 18 km off-road route on forest tracks and dirt roads, through dust, mud and uneven ground, with small stream crossings and water-splash stops — none of it charged on top of the fare.

  • Round-trip hotel transfer — hotel → activity base → hotel
  • Your buggy or quad for the safari
  • Helmet, worn for the whole safari
  • Information briefing and safety briefing
  • Vehicle briefing and practice drive
  • Professional guidance on the route
  • Insurance, where applicable under the operating policy
  • Changing cabins and showers at the base

What is extra — and paid at the base

Four things are not in the price. Goggles and a bandana are sold at the base — useful against the dust, optional, and you may bring your own. Food and drinks at the base are not in the fare. Photos and video by the base team are paid separately. We publish no prices for these extras; they are paid on the spot.

What is worth bringing costs nothing: old clothes you do not mind getting dirty and closed shoes — sports shoes are ideal, flip-flops are not.

Pay on the day — no booking fee, no card online

Booking on this website costs nothing — no booking fee, no deposit, no online payment. The booking form takes your details and your chosen departure; no card details are entered here. You pay on the day of the tour, and cancellation is free up to 24 hours before departure.

Before you send the booking form it shows the price for your party once more — the fares above, nothing added. What it does not show is your hotel pickup time: earlier than your departure time, set by your hotel and the day’s route, and confirmed with your booking.

Who pays which fare — the age rules behind the price list

Everyone aged 11 or over pays the adult fare, driving or not. A child aged 6–10 pays the child fare and rides as a passenger beside an adult — on the quad safari and the family buggy safari only. Children under 6 cannot take part: no infant seat, no free place, on any of the three safaris.

Drivers are 16 or older and show ID at the base as proof of age. No driving licence is required — the safari runs on a private off-road course, not on public roads. What is required is the safety briefing and the practice drive; the guide has the final say on who drives, and anyone who does not drive rides the same route as a passenger at the same fare.

Why the price is the same on every departure

Morning, late morning or afternoon, high season or shoulder season — the fare does not move: no surcharge for the earliest departure, no weekend rate, no price that depends on how far ahead you book. Three departures a day in season, one price list.
